The Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) is excited to announce that an update to the Cross-Functional Framework for Advancing Health and Well-Being (CFF for AHWB) is on the horizon. This widely used resource helps campuses design cross-functional teams and implement effective processes that support student health, well-being, and thriving communities.
As CAS closes another fiscal year, President Gayle Spencer, Ph.D. reflects on the organization’s accomplishments, leadership transitions, and community highlights. From celebrating the service of outgoing Governing Board members to welcoming new leaders and continuing the Member Spotlight series, Gayle shares her gratitude for the past year and her vision for continuity and growth as CAS enters the year ahead.
CAS is pleased to announce a limited-time opportunity to purchase a hardcopy edition of the Frameworks for Assessing Learning and Development Outcomes (FALDOs) 2.0 for only $25.00 (including shipping and handling). Originally priced at $50, this is your chance to add this essential resource to your professional library at half the cost.
This month in our CAS Member Organization Spotlight Series, we are proud to feature the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). CRLA members are leaders and educators across universities, colleges, community colleges, and adult learning environments who are committed to supporting students’ academic success. With expertise in reading, learning assistance, tutoring, developmental education, and peer education, CRLA provides a vital community where professionals can share research, strategies, and innovations that enhance student learning.
As part of the CAS Member Organization Spotlight Series, we are excited to feature NIRSA, a leading association dedicated to advancing recreation, sport, and well-being in higher education. With a membership of nearly 4,500 professionals, students, and businesses, NIRSA plays a critical role in fostering lifelong habits of well-being and leadership among college and university students. From intramural sports and recreation centers to health promotion and outdoor adventure programs, NIRSA members shape student experiences that extend far beyond the playing field.
