The Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) is the organization that honor societies join when they seek certification by a neutral body and collaboration with peers to uphold the highest standards of excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and research. Founded in 1925, ACHS is the only certifying agency for college and university honor societies. It establishes standards for organizational excellence, scholastic eligibility, and governance practices, ensuring that academic recognition remains meaningful and aligned with institutional values.

This month in our CAS Member Organization Spotlight Series, we are proud to feature the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). CRLA members are leaders and educators across universities, colleges, community colleges, and adult learning environments who are committed to supporting students’ academic success. With expertise in reading, learning assistance, tutoring, developmental education, and peer education, CRLA provides a vital community where professionals can share research, strategies, and innovations that enhance student learning.
In celebration of Pride Month, CAS is proud to spotlight the Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals, a national community of higher education practitioners working to create more just and equitable campuses for LGBTQIA2S+ people. The Consortium supports professionals in gender and sexuality centers, faculty, staff, graduate students, and all individuals dedicated to building inclusive environments for queer and trans communities.
