Shaping the Future of CAS: Insights from our Biannual Past Presidents Meeting

On June 30, 2026, CAS President Gayle Spencer convened our Past Presidents for their biannual leadership update. This meeting offers a critical space for past leaders to connect firsthand with the organization's current trajectory, strategic priorities, and future evolution.

 During the session, the group discussed several milestone initiatives central to our mission, including:

• Modernizing CAS Standards: Ensuring our benchmarks remain cutting-edge and highly relevant.
• Expanding the CAS+ Platform: Continuing the development of digital resources to better serve our community.
• Long-Term Sustainability: Strengthening the overarching impact and endurance of the organization.​

These collaborative conversations remind us that the road ahead is paved by those who helped
build our foundation. The experience and insights of our past leaders remain an invaluable
asset as we navigate the future.
