CAS extends a heartfelt “Thank You” to its outgoing Editor and Associate Editor for their outstanding service to the organization.
Outgoing Editor: Jen Wells, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Higher Education, Department of Educational Leadership, Kennesaw State University
Jen has served CAS since 2008. In her role as Editor, she has led or engaged in the organization of content for the 8th, 9th, and 10th edition of the CAS Professional Standards for Higher Education (commonly referenced as the Bluebook or CAS Standards).
Outgoing Associate Editor: Noah Henry-Darwish, Assistant Dean of Students, Stanford University
Noah has played an integral role as well since 2015 serving as a CAS Intern, Assistant Editor and Associate Editor. He also served on the Standards Management Committee and many standards committees. Noah was instrumental to CAS through leadership transitions.
As a team they contributed hundreds of hours to the creation of CAS resources, which also include our Frameworks for Assessing Learning and Development Outcomes (FALDOs), various resource papers, our graduate and faculty packets, and presentations to help users and CAS representatives understand and promote the many ways to use CAS.
Jen and Noah "retired" from the CAS Editors positions September 1, 2022. They will remain to support the update of the 11th Edition of CAS Standards book until it is published early next year.
