As CAS continues to celebrate 45 years of raising standards, we commemorate the organization's evolution and growth through recognition of the 10 Past Presidents who guided the Council along the way. This month, we honor CAS's fourth President, Jan Arminio.
During her presidency, Jan championed the student affairs profession as a contributor to student learning. Major works of her presidency were included the re-defining of student learning domains with a summit of educational leaders, valuing diversity in the institutions and ensuring the standards provided a solid threshold for embracing diversity, and introducing the need for research and scholarship to the CAS organization.
