The Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) is eager to promote a new resource co-published by CAS and the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA).
NILOA's Feburary 2020 Occasional Paper, “Using CAS as a Framework to Assess Holistic Learning”, was co-authored by Gavin W. Henning (CAS Past-President and CAS Representative from ACPA), Rich Robbins (former CAS Representative from NACADA), and Stacy Andes (CAS Representative from ACHA). According to Henning, “the paper reemphasizes the importance of holistic learning in higher education today and articulates the need for measurement of student learning across the student experience as part of program review.”
